The only thing she needs to do in order to become a valide sultan in the future is to take the right steps and not lose Mahmud's love.

Hosyar Sultan, the most beautiful woman in the harem, is an extremely generous and compassionate person. With this purity and cleanliness, she entered the heart of Mahmud.

It is not in her nature to deal with intrigues, but life behaves ruthlessly with people. Hosyar, who is madly in love with Mahmud, loses all her balance when Anna comes to the palace.

Actress Beste Kökdemir, who had been in quarantine for 15 days in March of 2020, shared her moments of yoga and meditation on her social media accounts. Kökdemir said, "As the mind stretches, so does the body."

Born and raised in Sinop, her family still lives in Sinop where she has a brother. Although she decided to become an actor at a very young age, she won another scholarship to the university with the guidance of her family.

“I passionately wanted to be an actor during my youth growing up in Sinop. Later I realized that everything was because I wanted it to be.

University was just about family pressure for me, frankly. When I was 17, I had to enter a university and to move to Istanbul. Education is very valuable and important to me, but unfortunately I was not good with the concept of school.

I entered the first section in the school I found for my family and stayed for 1 week. Series vs. things started to happen and I got down to business.”

She wanted to be an actor from a very young age and even wrote a letter to the future Beste about this at the age of five.

Beste Kökdemir“I would write the same things I wrote when I was five years old. Because that letter changed my life. "

"She wrote: 'I spoke to my uncle today, and he said that as I get older, my dreams will get smaller. That's why I'm writing you this letter - always remember me as you read it and never let your dreams get smaller."

"The tangible innocence in my possession has always kept me the same as I was when I was five years old. I think this letter has always protected me."

"Acting has been something I've wanted since I was five years old. I actually like to sing and dance. I thought I could be an actress, sing and dance. It was such a great passion that I was walking around the house saying 'I will be an actor, father'. The word Hollywood was mentioned 100 times a day."

She left after studying at Haliç University Fashion Design Department for a while and transferred to another university.

She graduated from Bilgi University Stage and Performing Arts Department bcause she still had a passion to become an actress.

The first step she took into acting facilitated her in starting her television adventure in 2012 with the character of 'Hazal', which she portrayed in the series 'Naked Real'.

Then she attracted attention by her performance of the character "Acelya" in the TV series "Sweet Little Liars".

She is not a perfectionist, she likes to be herself and acts like that. She has a character that tries to exceed her limits and does not hesitate to force herself for this cause.

“I love people, I prefer to trust. My rebellious side is actually an attitude I show to protect myself against prejudices while going my own way."

Beste Kökdemir"On the other hand, I am a very sensitive person. I am emotional and fragile. Maybe I brought my rebellious side to the fore so much because I was so fragile."

"But I can say this; No matter how sad I get, I never choose to give up and take a step back. I will defend my rights, right to the end."

Beste attaches great importance to personal development and always tries to add new things to herself.

“I sang many times in the TV series I played. I haven't received any vocal training yet, but I love to learn new things about things like dance all the time. I went to modern dance, latin dance, hip-hop, high heels and burlesque courses."

"My goal is also to learn flamenco. I am a bit like a honey bee - I like being able to take a little bit of everything."

She wants to feel powerful inside. "Strength is not something sought out in the visual image - I think it must be something that is slowly being developed inside, at the bottom."

"Sometimes I can see many women making a commitment to being strong through suffering and becoming weaker people through greed and anger."

"Power does not mean to become masculine, it does not mean to get away from one's own innate sensuality, it does not mean to be offended by love."

"Being able to hold on to your own nature, standing behind yourself and trusting the person you are despite all the tests you have given is the greatest strength. You need to get the messages right."

"If you are hurt because of your emotionality, maybe what you need to reduce is not your emotionality, but your expectations. People can be very prone to straight thinking. We kill our clairvoyance, because we forget."

Beste Kökdemir"Especially for a woman, clairvoyance is a great power. That's why I say stay in your nature. flexibly. Because a solid glass glass breaks where it first falls. Change, development, step into the unknown, childlike spirit, self-love - in short, these are the greatest powers.”

It's quieter on a set. She can't stand still for a second when she is with people she feels comfortable with. She gets very excited when she starts a new project. She is dying of excitement on the first shooting days of the new projects.

"The process of creating the character is very, very exciting. In general, I am more excited about the preparation processes than the results. While preparing for the role I play, I first try to empathize and understand the character."

"I dream of the characters past and future. I try to imagine how she thinks, how she dreams, the traumas she has experienced in the past; So I humanize the character. As the pieces are added to each other, they become flesh and bone. And once you see, it's you."

“I remember a scene where we had to enter a dirty lake. There were three of us and we had our bikinis on. Before we even got out of the water, we started itching like crazy. It became such that I was scratching my skin as if it were tearing."

"We rushed to the emergency room of the hospital. By the way, it was not even possible to get dressed, we entered the hospital with our bikinis on. All three of us were crying from itching. We had to be shot for scabies."

"The most tragicomic part was when the old aunts in the hospital looked at us and shouted, 'Don't get close to them, they have fleas'."

She is happy with the attention of her fans. “Fame means nothing to me. Neither good nor bad. I got along with it. I had an audience with my first 'The Naked Truth' series. Then it got a little bigger."

"So it was nothing for me to be shocked about. But I like it very much when little children want to be photographed with me on the street."

She very much wants to be freer, more uncensored in her profession and to take part in non-didactic works. “I love what I do. My goal is to go beyond my limits, to see how far I can go."

Beste Kökdemir"I think the turning point in my career has not happened yet. On the one hand, I've been making very slow progress, which feels safe. But on the other hand, I can't wait for it to happen."

"By the way, I think the turning point of the actor is independent of external factors, something changes inside him or her. I have to work for acting not only while creating the characters, but also when I am not working."

"I always try to be an honest and open-hearted person with myself. Likewise, being child-like and curious. Think about how immersed a child can be in playing house?"

"All these features also work in acting. exaggerated today, Instead of an acting in which the sentences are pronounced incredibly well, an acting style is adopted, which is thought to be the better we live and believe."

"This is very exciting, I think. We learn to stay in the moment while playing. There really is that desire to be everything from when I was a kid, so my dream comes true because we really live the character."

"Of course, I am not talking about a schizophrenic condition. It would be the opposite of staying in the moment anyway.”

Beste doesn't have a role she says she'll never play, She has too many roles in mind. “What is important to me is the depth of the character, its inner world and contradictions. I will never say 'I'm fine here'."

"I will go all the way for the better. There are players in Turkey that I like very much. I really like Funda Eryiğit and Saadet Işıl Aksoy. I would like to work with them. It would be great to work with experienced players as well.”

Beste Kökdemir has a Hollywood dream. “My dream of America is not a sine qua non intention. So if it doesn't happen, it won't be the end for me, I'm very happy to act here."

Beste Kökdemir"I think like this; There are many good talented players that can exist in the USA, but one cannot afford to get somewhere and start from scratch because they feel safe."

"In fact, many actors can take part in world cinema if they show that courage. Musically, I would love to have the Moulin Rouge adapted and of course take the lead role. As a series, I can say The Sinners."

"One of my biggest dreams is to play a dancer or a warrior woman. I am inspired by the acting of Marion Cotillard, Cate Blanchett and Charlize Theron."

"I find I am attracted to those who prefer a nature holiday instead of one by the sea. Fethiye is my favorite place to go in Turkey."

“I am from Sinop and the nature there is also very beautiful. Once we walked the Lycian Way near Fethiye with my father. We discovered mystical places on the top of the mountains, passed through incredibly beautiful regions. Therefore - Fethiye has a special place for me.”

A great day for Beste Kökdemir should follow a day when she sleeps well, eats well and feels light. She should be side by side with his friends who have not lost their childish spirit and seek a new experience. If I learn new things and feel emotions outside of the monotony, I am having a great day.”

Three Monkies

Three Monkeys is such an excellent film on so many levels. Raises fundamental moral questions, but does so without 'preaching'. Despite the somewhat serious mood and substantial content, remains highly watchable and enjoyable throughout. Beautifully made, on both sides of the camera. And best of all, there are enough layers there to warrant watching several times. Overall very impressive and a prime example of modern Turkish cinema!

People below have commented that there are no subtitles. But if you hit language to on and subtitles to off you get subtitles. Then you can watch a great film. Amazing film from a brilliant director. He has won Best Director in Cannes three years in a row. The Turkish film and television industry has become a breeding ground of brilliant talent and stunning productions.

The highly acclaimed, award-winning Turkish film, Distant is a deeply compassionate and frequently amusing study of quiet desperation, prompting many critics to favorably compare writer-director Nuri Bilge Ceylan's subtly hypnotic drama to the films of Ozu and Tarkovsky. Muzaffer Özdemir and Mehmet Emin Toprak shared Best Actor honors at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival for their perfectly nuanced performances as (respectively) divorced, 40-something photographer Mahmut and his distant relative Yusef, who arrives in Istanbul looking for work, and quickly wears out his welcome. With understated humor, Ceylan observes Mahmut and Yusef's chronic isolation, but he never passes judgment. Distant could've been made anywhere and it would yield the same visually seductive study of detachment.

The Turkish television and motion picture industry has come of age and is producing films and television series that are some of the best in the world. Even with having to read subtitles for non-Turkish speakers, the films and series are simply amazing productions with excellent cast and crews.
