"It's good that Asli was emotional. The girl was open, there is no question mark in her head.

It's more tiring because I'd usually drink it up. I am learning this now. So I can start to actually live what I feel.'

Then, in 2014, she acted as Miray this time in “Boynu Bükükler” - a Turkish TV drama. Her starring as Aslı in “Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar” (Little Sweet Liars) was the first leading role for the actress.

They were in the most ambitious and successful project of the season. In a conversation about their adaptation to their roles and acting:

Bensu Soral: It was a big responsibility to be a part of İçerde, so I make an effort to work harder. I focus on my scenes, I work with the teacher"

"I've seen the progress too. Çetin Tekindor, Mustafa Uğurlu and young players are especially influential. We know we are lucky. I want to deserve this role all the way."

Bensu SoralDamla Colbay: "Both Bensu and I are at the beginning of the road. I think it's been a good stepping stone for both of us. It makes me happy to be in such a good cast, a good production and script at such a young age."

"I feel myself lucky. We are learning so many things. The team is awesome. We learned a lot on this set, not only in terms of acting, but also about life.

Bensu Soral: "My initial concern was my age, because I look younger than my age. We continued to work with the teacher. I focus on the character, what I have to do."

"When you are confident, the stage turns out differently. I saw a certain stiffness in myself in the first episodes."

Damla Colbay: "At first, I also saw that stiffness in myself. We have already started working with Çetin Sarıkartal. We were entering a new environment, we were to create a new character."

"We had the process of getting acquainted with the role; the process of loving him, accepting him and being with him is exciting. It is not a difficult process, it is actually a very exciting process, but I think the hesitation at the beginning has settled on both of us now."

"While working on the action character, when the scenario comes, "What would he do, what would he think?" I'm looking. I relaxed at the point where I started to adapt it to my daily life. As I watched myself towards the final episodes, I started to enjoy it even more."

Bensu SoralBensu Soral: On the first day I went to the set, I had a mutual scene with Çetin Hoca (Tekindor). We had never seen each other before, I entered the set and he met me and said "Hello, Ms. Bensu, I'm Çetin Tekindor".

I was quite surprised that he found out my name. He was such a gentleman and gentleman to me and I liked this very much.

Bensu Soral"I am very emotional towards them. That's why I got criticism from my sister and those in my environment. 'They're not babies, you're going to be sick,' they say. I'm trying to break this. I love all animals, but the cat has a special place for me."

"I would like to help them all. That's why I'm not changing my account name. I would love to do something useful for shelters or stray animals in the future."

Three Monkies

Three Monkeys is such an excellent film on so many levels. Raises fundamental moral questions, but does so without 'preaching'. Despite the somewhat serious mood and substantial content, remains highly watchable and enjoyable throughout. Beautifully made, on both sides of the camera. And best of all, there are enough layers there to warrant watching several times. Overall very impressive and a prime example of modern Turkish cinema!

People below have commented that there are no subtitles. But if you hit language to on and subtitles to off you get subtitles. Then you can watch a great film. Amazing film from a brilliant director. He has won Best Director in Cannes three years in a row. The Turkish film and television industry has become a breeding ground of brilliant talent and stunning productions.

Distant

The highly acclaimed, award-winning Turkish film, Distant is a deeply compassionate and frequently amusing study of quiet desperation, prompting many critics to favorably compare writer-director Nuri Bilge Ceylan's subtly hypnotic drama to the films of Ozu and Tarkovsky. Muzaffer Özdemir and Mehmet Emin Toprak shared Best Actor honors at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival for their perfectly nuanced performances as (respectively) divorced, 40-something photographer Mahmut and his distant relative Yusef, who arrives in Istanbul looking for work, and quickly wears out his welcome. With understated humor, Ceylan observes Mahmut and Yusef's chronic isolation, but he never passes judgment. Distant could've been made anywhere and it would yield the same visually seductive study of detachment.

The Turkish television and motion picture industry has come of age and is producing films and television series that are some of the best in the world. Even with having to read subtitles for non-Turkish speakers, the films and series are simply amazing productions with excellent cast and crews.
