Irina Sheik (born Irina Shaykhlislamova) was discovered on a train by a fashion executive in 2004, during a lengthy three-day trip from Chelyabinsk to Moscow. That chance encounter convinced her to pursue a career in modeling and Irina was soon signed by Traffic. Since joining Traffic, Irina has been featured in a number of promotional campaigns for brands such as Intimissimi, Lacoste and Martini. She has also appeared on the covers of magazines throughout Europe, including Annabelle in Germany, Jalouse in Greece and Bolero in Switzerland. Irina appeared in the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as one of the 2007 Rookies and also makes an appearance in the 2008 edition. In 2008, Irina starred in a photo story for the song single "Diamond Girl" produced by Ryan Leslie. Irina is also the face of the world wide campaigns of Intimissimi (2007, 2008) and Guess (2008).
