Cagla Kubat is a Turkish model, actress and windsurfer. She is a 5 feet 10 3/4 (1.80m). Born in Izmir in 1979, Cagla graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. She won the Miss Turkey pageant and consequently placed 2nd runner-up at the Miss Universe 2002.
Cagla is also a champion windsurfer, having won the IFCA windsurfing European Slalom Championship in 2005, in Alaçati, and hopes to make the Turkish national team for the next Olympic games.
She has starred in successful leading female roles in two Turkish TV series to date. These are "Sagir Oda" (The Deaf Room) in 2006 and "Kuzey Ruzgari" (The Northern Wind) with Kadir Inanir and Oktay Kaynarca this year. Cagla speaks Turkish (native), English and Italian fluently. She is an alumni of Italian lisesi.
