Tara Blaise is a singer from Aughrim, County Wicklow. Tara Blaise is signed to Spokes Records, which is founded by John Hughes – The Corr’s manager. She was formerly with the group Kaydee who were signed to EMI records.

Her first album is called “Dancing on Tables Barefoot” – the first two singles “Paperback Cliché” and “Three Degrees” both spent weeks in the top five singles in the Irish Product airplay chart in fact the former reached the Number 1 position for several weeks and was a big Summer hit. Tara ended up being the most played Irish female artist on Irish radio last year.

Tara covered the UK and Ireland live wise by playing at some of the major festivals on the islands including Oxygen, T in the Park, V Festivals as well as her own headline shows – one in London at Bush Hall and also, back in Dublin in The Sugar Club.

She has also played acoustically at over 100 radio stations in the UK and Ireland winning fans wherever she goes...

Tara did radio tours and showcased in Spain where her album was released and she hopes to return their early in 2007.

Tara was also chosen to perform all over the UK and back in the Point, Dublin in Jeff Waynes smash cult musical “The War of the Worlds” – the show was a sellout to almost half a million people and again there are plans to tour it further in 2007 with an invite already given to Tara to return to the role if she so wishes.

The album has been re-issued featuring four new tracks including “Winter Wonderland” recorded live as part of a radio session on one of her Irish tours.
