Annamarie Lytle possessed a passion for performing which became evident in her pursuit of dance while studying jazz at Christine's Dance studio. In 2003 Annamarie was vigorously pursued to be on the cover of the National Sports Swimsuit Calendar. Weeks later, in what was only her second photo shoot, Annamarie was selected as the cover model for 28th Street Magazine. That cover launched what soon became a hugely successful national and international promotional campaign that plastered Annamarie's face on billboards, bus stops and CD covers from New York City to Los Angeles and every other city in between. Since then she has been the cover girl for many magazines. Annamarie is also now the new face for Milani Cosmetics - sold throughout the U.S in competition with Revlon.

Recently Annamarie moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where she lives with Thomas Barsoe her singer-songwriter husband. Annamarie's acting career heated up the independent film "Pieces of Eight" and a guest starring spot on the WB's "The Help," starring Tori Spelling. Annamarie also produced and acted in the play "Sex and Lies" at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood. If you watch the late night talk shows, you may have caught her helping out with comedy skits on Jay Leno or Jimmy Kimmel Live! Last but not least you can currently see her in commercials for Pizza Hut, Honda, and Dodge.

BRSpecial:
Sounds like life has been a little hectic lately with the move from Los Angeles to Copenhagen? Are you enjoying Denmark or do you miss sunny southern California?

Annamarie:
I moved to Denmark just recently and am loving it. Im studying the Danish language currently. I love Denmark, its such a romantic beautiful country, however, I do miss the states, Im a California girl at heart.

BRSpecial:
You have graced the covers and pages of numerous magazines. You lit up the screen in the independent film 'Pieces of Eight', and you also produced and acted in the play 'Sex and Lies' at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood. Do you plan to continue with your modeling, seek film roles, or just enjoy being a housewife for awhile?

Annamarie:
I do plan to keep acting and being creative even though I have moved away from the industry. I have been in the fashion industry for awhile and love being around other artists. I would go crazy just being a housewife.....I would feel trapped ....I will, for sure, continue on a creative path.

BRSpecial:
You are a very vocal animal rights activist who has been actively involved with PETA. Do you have plans for any new campaigns for them from Europe?

Annamarie:
I have been involved with PETA for awhile and did the last print campaign.I also went out on trips with them and did many demonstrations. I am planning on now getting involved with the German PETA branch. Unfortunately Denmark does not have a branch yet...

BRSpecial:
Gazing into the crystal ball, what would you most like to say you have accomplished looking back 10 years from now?

Annamarie:
Ten years from now I would like to look back and see that I used my creative and fashion work abilities. And that I also used them to help causes that I believe in such as PETA. Right now I am working to help refugees with the Red Cross in Copenhagen.

BRSpecial:
Thanks Annamarie. We appreciate you giving us some of your day and providing us with a glimpse into your life and possible plans for the future.

Annamarie:
Thanks...
