The Kazantip Republic is the craziest and liveliest music, dance and party festival in the world. The Kazantip Republic is a non-existent state under the sun on a beach in Popovka, Crimea, Ukraine. The Kazantip Republic is at times compared with the beach party at Ibiza or the Burning Man Festival in the desert. But it is not just another month long open-air party with DJs, beautiful girls in bikinis, wild dancers and a never-ending venue. Or in the case of Burning Man - an outdoor campground for old hippies and exhibitionists obsessed with self-expression and fire worship.
The Kazantip Republic is a small imaginary republic situated on an area of about 2 square kilometers of beach. Despite its small size, Kazantip Republic has about 10 dance floors, 30 bars and restaurants, 2 open air cinemas, 3 kite-surfing stations and an abundance of strange architectural structures all fitted with light and sound. At night it looks pretty much like an extraterrestrial space station populated with beautiful women, cheerful bronzed lazybones, not really eager to say goodbye to their childhood, as well as the President of the Republic himself.
The Kazantip Republic is ruled by its own constitution with a president and lovable government which takes responsibility for the most important things in the state, such as sound and light, love and good humour, virtual good deeds and friendly illusions. There is also a visa office, a bureau of customs, national traditions and the official religion which adheres to the belief in the reality of miracles and happiness.
Kazantip has its own community which consists of hundreds of Pink Princesses, Yellow Suitcases Builders, Cosmo-Gypsies and Robots who occupy the Republic along with many other extraordinary beings. Kazantip is the place where all DJ’s dream to play! The Republic has different dance floors with each playing its own music and each different in their appearance and atmosphere. The Republic has its own security force closely watching people to insure no conflicts between guests. Since all have the right to live in happiness and joy violators are punished. As it is impossible at Kazantip take drugs, engage in public sex or other things that violate the joyful and happy atmosphere at Kazantip.
There is NO simple or fast sex in Kazantip and drugs of any kind are strictly forbidden. In the Kazantip Republic we celebrate love, be polite, appreciate each other and respect NO's - Offensive sex hunters can and will be banned for lifetime.
In the Kazantip Republic love in all it kinds is welcome - excluding sexual breach of limits, prostitution or offensive behavior. There is a office of the Republic where FAST MARRIED certificates can be obtained which validate relations between Kazantip Republic citizens. Citizens who have fallen in love with each other can enter into fast marriage (union in heaven). Unions in Heaven is not limited in number or gender with the marriage being valid for however long the love lasts.
Urinating in an unapproved place is considered as a crime within the Kazantip Republic. Citizen who do not manage to run up to the nearest public toilet will be arrested by the security guards, fined and deported from the Republic.
Incitement of ethnic hatred and unleashing of chauvinistic sentiments within the Kazantip Republic is considered one of the most enormous offences against the Kazantip Republic national ideology which aims to achieve the world supremacy through peaceful means.
