"My family have always supported me. They always said, whatever you do, we're always behind you."

"Of course, they never let me do anything that would wear me down or upset me. I was able to get into this business and move forward because I knew that whatever decision I made - they would be behind me."

"There were so many things I wanted to do when I was a little girl. Since I received music education at a young age, I thought that my profession would be in that direction."

"Of course I have dreams and wishes, but not everything in life happens the way you want."

"That is why I don't plan too far for the future. Of course, I want to have built a happy family in the coming years.

"People can comment on your life, especially about your private life. That's why I did not choose to live my private life in plain sight."

"It bothers me to talk about it can make things more complicated. I always want to talk about my job, my profession. Of course I do not run away, but I do not go to places where I'll be constantly in the spotlight."

Babel is inarguably one of the best films of 2006. Director Alejandro Gonzalez Irritu and his co-writer, Guillermo Arriaga weave together the disparate strands of their story into a finely hewn fabric by focusing on what appear to be several equally incongruent characters: an American (Brad Pitt) touring Morocco with his wife (Cate Blanchett) become the focus of an international incident also involving a hardscrabble Moroccan farmer struggling to keep his two young sons in line and his family together. A San Diego nanny, her employers absent, makes the disastrous decision to take their kids with her to a wedding in Mexico. And a deaf-mute Japanese teen (the extraordinary and beautiful Rinko Kikuchi) deals with a relationship with her father and the world in general that's been upended by the death of her mother.
