Laëtitia MilotLaëtitia Milot, born July 5th, 1980 in Limoges (Haute-Vienne) France, is a French actress, model and author. She currently plays in Plus belle la vie the character of Mélanie Rinato.

She followed studies in the sports-studies section at the conservatories of Tours from 1990 to 1994 then attended Aix-en-Provence from 1994 to1997.

As an actress she is known for Olivia in 2019, La femme du boulanger during 2010 and Plus belle la vie in 2004. From 2001 to 2002, she was part of a theater troupe with the Compagnie du Ruban vert.

From 2002 to 2004, she studied at a conservatory in Paris, then at Cours Florent. In 2004, she attended classes at Pygmallion. Daughter of a soldier and a nurse, she has two older brothers.

From an early age, she took classical dance lessons and as a teenager, enrolled at the Conservatory where she practiced contemporary dance, modern dance, singing, piano.

At 16, her artistic fiber became apparent when she discovered the theater. The young girl decided to devote herself to it and joined a theater company, the Green Ribbon troupe in Aix-en-Provence.

In the early 2000s, she settled in Paris and started taking acting classes at the Cours Florent, then at the Pygmalion studio. The aspiring actress attended castings and won appearances in the series 'A Woman Of Honor and Lawyers and Associates, as well as filming the clips In The Sun and She Lives Here.

Laëtitia MilotIn 2004, she won the role of Mélanie Rinato in the series Plus belle la vie on France 3 . Quickly, the series enthralled the public and the series was a hit. The success of the series allowed her to acquire a certain notoriety.

Occasionally, she participates in other projects; she shoots the TV movie Les empreintes du temps in 2008 and plays in the theater alongside Michel Galabru in The Baker's Wife during 2011.

Since 2012, Laëtitia Milot has been enjoying experiences while retaining her role in the Plus belle la vie series. In 2013, she revived her passion for dance and participated in the program Dance With The Stars on TF1.

She played in several TV movies - We Will Meet Again. Murders in Avignon plus The Woman With Red Hair, and becomes the heroine of the series The Revenge With Clear Eyes in 2016, which was broadcast on TF1. In November 2017, she returned in the second season of the series.

At the same time, the actress has published several books; I Wanted To Tell You in 2010, We Will Meet Again in 2013 - (adapted for television), and Liés pour la vie in 2017.

In her private life, Milot lost her boyfriend, Yannis, when he passed away from cancer in 2001. She found love again with Badri Menaia, and the couple married on June 30th, 2007.

In 2013, she revealed that she was suffering from endometriosis - a disease for which she had surgery a year earlier, and does not know if she will ever be able to have children. . She discusses her illness in The Baby Is It When? in 2016.

In November 2017, Laëtitia Milot announces her pregnancy, and that she is three months pregnant. On May 14th, 2018, she gave birth to a little girl, named Lyana.

She embodies the character of Mélanie Rinato, working at the Mistral bar with Roland and Thomas Marci, in the television series Plus belle la vie, on France 3, since the first episode in August 2004.

In 2007, she was the host of American TV hook, The Starlet, a New Star type show but with professional actors, on W9. In 2008, she played in Les Empreintes du temps, a documentary-fiction, in the play À la manner de…, directed by Richard Guedj, as well as the role of Cora in SOS 18.

In 2009, she shot a TV commercial for the cosmetic brand Le Petit Olivier, of which she is the muse. Since May 25th, 2010, she hosted the show on the paranormal Ghost Adventures on the Syfy channel.

In 2011, Lætitia played alongside Michel Galabru in the play La Femme du boulanger live on France 2. In 2011, Lætitia lent her image to a famous brand of deodorant, Rexona Women.

She also plays in the series France 3 reserved surveys and in La Crèche des hommes, a TV movie for France 2 broadcast in 2012.

Lætitia Milot is a lingerie model and notably posed for the Aubade brand - FHM magazine named her Miss lingerie in 2003 and Les p'tites bombes in 2008 which made her her muse.

In 2008, she created her clothing line in partnership with LPB, of which she has been the muse since 2006. In 2010, released her autobiographical book entitled I Wanted To Tell You, where she tells her drama which conditioned her to this choice of life.

It details her incredible battles to become an actress through interviews with the actress, confidences about her tastes and new photos which reveal another face of the actress.

In 2013, she published her first novel, We Will Meet Again. A black thriller in which she tackles two subjects that are particularly close to her heart: violence against women, notably through rape, but also the quest for identity.

She then packed her bags and moved to Marseille for the needs of filming.

Lovable, sensitive and generous, Laëtitia seems to be the same woman in real life as in the famous soap, which is undoubtedly the recipe for the success of her character with the fans. The actress has embodied the sparkling Mélanie for 11 seasons.

The actress leaves the Phocaean city from time to time and makes infidelities to Plus belle la vie. So thus we can see her alongside Laurent Ournac in Camping Paradis , in the short program Our Dear Neighbors, or in 2 episodes of the police series Enquêtes Reserved.

In 2015, the actress changed her register with a new TV movie for TF1, of which she is the headliner, We Will Meet Again . In this black thriller, Laëtitia highlights a new facet of her talent by interpreting Margot, a young woman discovering a terrible family secret revealed by her mother before dying.

In November of 2019 the actress of Plus Belle la Vie confirmed that she had been hospitalized in an emergency for her endometriosis, and wanted to reassure her fans about her state of health.

The fight against endometriosis continues for Laëtitia Milot . The 39-year-old actress was hospitalized in an emergency this week in a Bordeaux clinic, she confirmed to Télé Star. At her side, her husband Badri accompanied her.

The actress wants to be reassuring: "I underwent surgery for endometriosis. I reassure you everything is fine." she wrote to her fans on her Instagram account .

This chronic disease affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. And, a month ago, Laëtitia Milot explained that her fight against the disease was still ongoing.

"I don't like to say a victory because unfortunately the endometriosis is still there and it came back well in force, but it's another battle won in this war."

With her husband Badri Menaia, she is trying to have a second child in an attempt to give Lyana a little sister or a little brother . "We have already had this chance to have Lyana and I thank life every day ," she explained. Even though a second child will unfortunately be out of our control, it is nature that will decide. "

Laëtitia MilotTheir "miracle baby", a little girl named Lyana, was born in May of 2018. "Now that my daughter is here, it makes me want to fight even more. You can imagine when we put ourselves in the place of these women who suffer, once again, in silence, who can no longer move from their home, who can be disabled in relation to this crappy illness!"

"Excuse me for that term, but it is a crappy illness that prevents these women from going to work, to live, to playing sports. It's hard for these couples" she explained."

Laëtitia Milot Milot has overcome this fight once and will do it again.
